Putting your bot into maintenance mode is useful when your backend currently is down due to any reason. Instead of silently swallowing user messages, the bot will notify the user about it being in the maintenance mode.
The maintenance mode for your bots can be enabled via the BotPresto bot. Start with sending the /mybots command, then select the bot you wish to enable the maintenance mode for.
